Once the Foundation has a full, permanent Board and a 501(c)3 determination letter, the startup process is complete. What's next? With the ability to receive tax deductible donations and a Board will full corporate power, the sky is the limit. New services can be offered, staff can be hired, donations solicited and, most importantly, students can be benefited. While the actual services offered by the Foundation will differ based upon the Board and the current campus situation, the backbone required for the Foundation to fulfill its mission will be in place. This step is a to-do item, awaiting the 501(c)3 granting.
