Part of the Articles that were drafted included a temporary Board of Directors to serve as the corporate directors for the Foundation's first 90 days. These directors were the ones who held the organizing meeting and began the Foundation's work. This step has been completed.

Under
state law, the first thing a new corporation must do is hold its organizational
meeting. Covering such things as adopting bylaws, selecting officers and
establishing a plan of action, the meeting enables a corporation to begin its
life cycle and establish itself as an entity.
